Teen Review: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

The Fault in Our Stars was emotional in a very real way and didn’t feel overly dramatic. The characters felt genuine, and their conversations made the story feel honest and relatable. Even though it deals with heavy topics, there were moments of humor and warmth throughout. It made me think a lot about life, loss, and how people cope with difficult situations. Overall, it was a meaningful and memorable read.

Final Cut by Olivia Worley

When Hazel gets the lead role in a slasher film, she's excited for the opportunity to prove herself as an actress and star in a horror movie, her favorite genre. The only issue is that the movie takes place in Pine Springs, the home of her father-- a convicted murderer known as the Pine Springs Slasher. But when strange "accidents" start happening on set, followed by an actual murder, Haze starts to wonder if her father was actually the killer all along.

Bunny by Mona Awad

I really enjoyed Bunny (2019) by Mona Awad! For fans of dark academia and psychological thrillers, it’s one you can’t miss. It was so engaging that I finished it in about two sittings.
