Get It Together: An Interior Designer’s Guide To Creating Your Best Life (2018), by Orlando Soria, is a nonfiction book about interior design. HOWEVER, it is also a super sarcastic, hilarious, self help masterpiece. Every page hits somewhere deep inside. Here are some excerpts: “Making your space as codependent as you are”, “Remind them that you control the money by painting things gold”, “How to make non-garbagey flower arrangements–you killed these flowers, this is the least you could do”, “Creating a comfortable family home so your kids don’t turn out to be drug addicts and streetwalkers”. The designs and DIY projects are really nice. The life advice was both unexpected and enjoyable.
