The Wheaton Public Library’s Tween Center is designed for grades 3-6 including materials and programs. Use a computer, read a book in front of our fireplace, or see what’s growing in the greenhouse. While the Tween Center is designed for grades 3-6, everyone is welcome to use the collection including fiction, nonfiction, audiobooks and Playaways.
Computers are available for research, gaming, and learning. Finish your homework, play Minecraftedu or try Scratch coding.
Tween computers have Microsoft Office 2016 and printing is available.
Login to a Tween computer with your library card or ask for a guest pass at the Tween Center Desk.
Learn science, technology, engineering, art and math and have fun with our STEAM kits. See them all here.
STEAM kits may be checked out out for 1 week. Find them at the Tech Center Desk on the 1st Floor.
We’d love to know your favorite books to read and to share them with others! Send an email to youthservices@wheatonlibrary.org and we’ll feature your booklist in the Tween Center. In the email, please include the following:
