Grace & Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon by Matthew Norman

I absolutely adored this heartwarming and funny Christmas romance, perfect for anyone who loves quirky characters (both human and animal) and holiday movies. Grace and Henry both lost their spouses at the beginning of the year, and as the holiday season approaches, they’re not sure how to navigate the supposed “happiest time of the year.” Their mothers decide to set them up, and though the two don’t think they’re ready to date, they become friends and bond over watching holiday movies like Home Alone and Love Actually. Henry soon becomes a good friend not only to Grace, but to her two kids and their dog, Harry Styles (a delight throughout the book). The author’s descriptions of Baltimore at Christmastime, from close-knit neighborhoods to the famous Miracle on 34th Street in Hampden, give the book a cozy, nostalgic feel and you’ll definitely be rooting for Grace and Henry to find their happy ending in time for Christmas!
