Join us for this engaging discussion of Liliana's Invincible Summer: A Sister's Search for Peace by Cristina Rivera Garza. (2023, 320 pages)

Twenty-nine years after her sister Liliana was murdered by an abusive ex-boyfriend, Cristina embarks on a quest for justice. As the author collects and curates evidence to document her sister’s life, she confronts the trauma of losing her sister and examines how this tragedy continues to shape who she is—and what she fights for—today.

The same title will be discussed via Zoom on April 28.
