Explore your family stories and personal memories in a creative and supportive environment! Join us for a writing workshop inspired by The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. Prompts based on the short, imaginative pieces that compose Cisneros's novel will be provided for inspiration. 

No writing experience needed. Just come with a pad of paper, journal, or laptop, and the desire to write and share your own meaningful and diverse stories.  

Provided in partnership with the DuPage Symphony Orchestra as part of the NEA's Big Read Grant. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest. 

Join us at one of our three scheduled book discussions in March on The House on Mango Street.
