Chicago area activist Alice Tregay’s life and work reflect the story of the Civil Rights Movement and emphasize the essential work of "ordinary people" towards extraordinary change. Includes a short intro and Q&A with the director. Provided in partnership with the Wheaton-Glen Ellyn Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
BONUS: Award-winning local author Glennette Tilley Turner will be available to connect with attendees and sign copies of her new book, The Gift of Freedom: How Harriet Tubman Rescued Her Brothers.
