The 2008 YABOB season has officially ended. If you love to read, and you love to compete, make sure to join the Young Adult Battle of the Books next year! Middle school students from various schools in and around Wheaton can participate by reading from the 20 books on the YABOB list and then help their team answer questions correctly. Battle is held at the library. If you're interested, speak to your school librarian! Begun at the Wheaton Public Library in 1992, the library's Young Adult Battle of the Books program challenges 6th through 8th grade students to read and become familiar with a wide variety of books. A new season begins each October.
