Feed Your Mind, Read! Feed Your Mind, Read!
YA Summer Reading Program
June 2 - August 16


Log your reading time and win prizes! Students entering 6th through 12th grades are eligible to participate. You do not need a Wheaton Public Library card. Log on, create a username and password and start keeping track of your time spent reading. If you forget your password we can clear it for you.

Everyone Wins!
Prizes are awarded for every 20, 40, and 60 hours spent reading. Pick up your prize at the Magazine Desk on the 2nd floor of the library. Random drawings will be held every Friday afternoon after 3:00 p.m. You receive one entry for every 4 hours spent reading. If you're a winner you will be notified by phone or by logging in to your account. Readers who have finished 20, 40, and 60 hours of reading time qualify for prize drawings at the end of the program. Prizes cannot be traded-in.

End of Program Prizes
Grand Prize - a 4GB iPod Nano
2nd Prize - $80 Gift Certificate to Yorktown Mall
3rd Prize - $40 Gift Certificate to Amazon.com

Reading Rewards
20 hours - Lunch at Panera Bread
40 hours - Movie Ticket to Classic Cinemas
60 hours - Reading Rewards Coupon Book and Golden Ticket to Book Fair (in August)

Other Ways to Win
Genre Challenge - Read one book in each of 14 (out of 16) genres. Of those who finish the Genre Challenge, 30 names will be drawn at the end of the program.
Reader's Advisory - Fill out a Reader's Advisory Sheet after reading a book. Read other Reader's Advisory sheets in the binder located in teenspace.
