Requirements for Home Use
- A current Wheaton Public Library card:
If you don't have a current Wheaton Public Library card, please come into the library to get one. For more information on library cards see Your Library Card.
- A PIN - Personal Identification Number:
This is the same PIN used to view your account, request a hold, use a self-checkout station or use an Internet computer in the library. If you can't remember your PIN, telephone the Circulation desk at 630-868-7510 and ask for assistance. If you don't have a PIN, you can create a PIN now.
AOL, Prodigy and CompuServ Users
The browsers supplied by AOL, Prodigy and CompuServ are not compatible with our databases. You may use Internet Explorer or Netscape. Connect to AOL or the Internet as you usually do. Once you're online, close or minimize the window but don't disconnect the telephone line. Open Internet Explorer or Netscape and you're ready to search the library's databases.
