Registration for the Winter session begins Wednesday January 7.

Winter Session is January 12 through February 20.
The library offers story times for children ages 6 months to 8 years. Each story time is 20 to 30 minutes long, and a session lasts 6 weeks. Story time sessions are offered 4 times a year. Parent must have a valid Wheaton Public Library Card to register a child.
Advanced registration is required.
Great Beginnings
For babies ages 6 to 23 months (must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver). During this 30-minute session, babies and their parents will share nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and age-appropriate books. Child must be 6 months and not yet 2 by the date of the first storytime.
Dates & Times:
Mondays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.
Fridays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.
Toddler
For 2 year olds (must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver). Toddler story time lasts 20 minutes and consists of stories, songs, fingerplays and flannelboards. Child must be 2 by the date of the first storytime.
Dates & Times:
Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.
Thursdays at 9:30 a.m., 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.
Preschool
For 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Preschool story time lasts 30 minutes and incorporates stories, songs, fingerplays, puppets and movies. Child must be at least 3 and not yet 6 by the date of the first storytime.

Mondays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. or 7 p.m.
Tuesdays at 10 a.m. or 2 p.m.
Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Thursdays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.
Fridays at 11 a.m.
Kindergarten
For 5 and 6 year olds. Kindergarten story time also lasts 30 minutes and incorporates stories, songs, fingerplays, puppets and movies. Child must be 5 and not yet 7 by the date of the first storytime.
Dates & Times:
Mondays at 10 a.m.
Tuesdays at 2 p.m.
Story time for 7 and 8 year olds.
Story time lasts 30 minutes and incorporates stories, riddles, jokes and tongue twisters. (Offered each summer.)
