Moon Landings: Melies, Herge, and Armstrong

Verne, Melies, and Herge took us to the moon before the Russians launched Sputnik and before the Armstrong's 1969 moon landing. In this artistic approach to space exploration, Julia Diliberti, humanities professor at College of DuPage, will illustrate how artists, writers, musicians, and scientists were converging on a cumulative space revolution.
